✈️ Flights & Arrival
Flights from Germany (e.g. Frankfurt or Munich) are often available from €600-900. It's worth booking early, direct flights are usually a little more expensive.

🚐 Rental car & road trip costs
Many people travel by train or scooter, both of which are cheap and uncomplicated. A rental car costs approx. 50-80 € per day. Scooter rental: 10-20 € per day.

🏡 Accommodation & meals
Hostels from €15-30, hotels from €50 per night. Food is often cheap: you can get delicious meals for €5-10 in food stalls and night markets.

🎟️ Entrance fees & activities
National parks are often free or very cheap (max. €3-5). City museums and sights also have fair prices.

💡 My tip: let yourself be carried away by the night markets - try dumplings, bubble tea or stinky tofu! For small budgets: use street food & public transport - perfect for culinary & authentic adventures.

Personal tips

Personal tips from me after 5 months abroad:

🍜 Street food & local markets

Whether it's dumplings, sweet dumplings or tofu snacks - embark on a street food adventure. I never got enough of it during my time there!

🚴‍♂️ Ride a scooter like the locals

Riding a scooter is not only cheap, but also great fun - and you can get to the most remote places.

Especially in the mountains or on the coast, it's worth taking the sunrise with you - a magical moment that I still remember.
